14 years of growth marketing for complex products - from industrial automation to edtech to insurance - where channels, analytics and strategy have to work harder than usual because of longer customer journeys, narrower audiences, less conversion data, and product complexity/price.
I combine traditional marketing craft (user focus, deep digital channel knowledge, market research, analytics and CRO) with behavioral science, experimentation, and what I call marketing method acting: deeply inhabiting the customer's perspective to shape strategy, messaging and channel decisions. I see marketing as a bridge between company and buyer - and building that bridge requires as much internal collaboration as it does channel expertise.
Started at 77Agency managing £1.2M in paid search for Estée Lauder brands. From there, progressively deeper into complex products and harder marketing problems: building and leading a 5-person performance marketing team at CareerFoundry, and most recently leading SEM strategy and implementation at Feather Insurance.
What drives me is seeing customers find exactly what they needed, watching charts move in the right direction, solving mysteries in data and performance, and sharing wins with the team.
